Our cedar pergola construction uses select-grade Western Red Cedar for posts, beams, and rafters. We dimension lumber appropriately for the span and snow loads specific to your installation. Post bases incorporate moisture barriers and proper fastening to concrete footings. All connections use stainless steel or hot-dipped galvanized hardware that won't stain the cedar. Rafter and beam ends can be shaped with decorative profiles—from simple angles to elaborate scrollwork—to match your home's architectural style.
